Most of our much loved broodmares are 15hh/15.1hh Part Bred & Anglo Arabians, however we have two super Crabbet 15.1hh purebred Arabian mares & A 15.1hh pure Irish Draft Show Cob! All enjoy or have enjoyed ridden careers alongside their stud duties. Beneath you can see a selection of our Anglos, Part Breds, Pure Breds and two heavier boned mares all of which are due to foal or already have offspring by our young Anglo Arabian Stallion,VEKAAM. Also, new for 2010 - Masons Stud have set a breeding programme in motion to breed from bigger TB mares for Sports/Eventing.

Ainsley Vice Versa
15.1hh Grey Anglo Arab - AHS Registered 50% Arabian (Tiveys Trident x Sula Minisca) Champion Small riding horse, Anglo Arab, Cherif & Side Saddle showing at County and National Level. She does it all and has competed dressage, hunted and completed several endurance rides. She has had 4 foals to date and continues to show in hand with her offspring including going Reserve British National Champion.

Graceful of Romany River
15hh Part Bred Arab Mare, Arab Horse Registered - 37.5% Arabian (M’lord x Katric Cleopatra) Champion Part Bred Arab & Hack County Show Winning Mare owned and shown by Mr and Mrs Trodd, a wonderful broodmare producing several top class national level horses and ponies. She has also modelled for snuggy hoods!

Wasima, Black Graded BHHS Mare, Born 2003, 157.5cm
Bred & previously owned by the chairman of the Hanoverian Society, this striking mare really has the 'wow' factor. She is a lovely limbed, deep mare with wonderful confirmation & big movement. She has competed succesfully with numerous wins as a small hack then laterally as a small Riding Horse during 2007, 2008 & 2009 (Including HOYS 2008).
She is by Broadstone West Country, a stallion that needs no introduction. He is one of the most consistant producers of all round sports and show horses. He is the most senior stallion in Britian by the legendary WELTMEYER and contains the famous WENZEL and DARWIN on the dams side. WEST COUNTRY stamps his stock and passes on his very powerfull movement and good tempermeant. He successfully passed his performance test in Germany and competed at Prix St George and Intermediate 1 level. He was the leading competative Hanovarian Dressage stallion in 1999 and 2000.

Whalton Grace and Favour
153cm Bay mare, Born 2002 (Kilvington Scoundrel x Grace Beck) Approx 90% TB/RP, 10% Arab.
Beautifully Bred & well known Hack mare by Kilivington Scoundrel out of Grace Beck. Grace has had an extremely successful ridden showing career, bursting onto the show circuit in 2006 when she won the SFAS Hack class at Horse of The Year Show. She has competed and been placed RIHS & HOYS not only in the hacks but the intermediates in 2006, 2007, 2008 & 2009. She will continue her ridden showing during 2010 and will then join our gorgeous team of broodmares.

Silver Addiction
Silver Addiction - 15hh Part Bred Arab Horse Registered, 50% Arab, Born 2004,

Silver Addiction is a wonderful example of a part bred mare with a lovely head, excellent conformation and movement, and a fantastic laid back tempermeant. She is by the pure bred crabbet Arab, Silver Satyr out of a HOYS show hack. In her first show season as a 4 year old she qualified RIHS, The Cherif Championships and placed 2nd AHS National Championships Novice ridden 2008. She was bought in 2008 by Masons Stud. She continued to show under saddle during 2009 and won 6 out 7 Cherif/affiliated PBA Classes, including qualifying for Royal International 2009 & Cherifs 2009 & 2010. She was also 6th Young Hack National Championships. She has also won affiliated dressage during 2009. Littletons Kiss Me Kate
Littletons Kiss Me Kate - 15.1hh BWBS & Part Bred Arab Horse Society Registered, 29% Arab, Born 2004 (Catherston Humbug x Ainsley Vice Versa)
Littletons Kiss Me Kate is a smart, stunning athletic part bred Arab mare out of our own foundation mare, Ainsley Vice Versa by the advanced dressage stallion Catherston Humbug. She is a small hack in type and is a light and elegant little horse. She was shown once and won as a three year old and backed in 2007/8, but due to several minor injuries her ridden education was interrupted and therefore had her first foal 2009.

This Riding Pony/Small Intermediate mare boasts some brilliant showing bloodlines, We bought her as a show broodmare and she has had 3 exquisite riding pony/intermediate & hack foals to date including; Romany River Chantilly lace, Romany River Chantilly & Littletons Princess. She has had a superb hack filly foal May 2009, Littletons Chantress who will be shown during 2010 as a hack/pba yearling.

Damera is a 15hh Pure Bred Crabbet Arabian (Ahmoun x Gold Dahliah)
A Beautifully bred Show and Advanced Endurance Mare bred by the Stourvale Arabian Stud, She has had 3 foals to date including Mr Darcy, Littletons Dancing Dennis & Littletons Definitely Maybe. She is kind hearted and a laid back girl who excels under saddle. Her temperament is outstanding. Her daughter, Littletons Definately Maybe is currently for sale as she is too small for us to show sadly. Please see younstock page.

Bey Sappho
Bey Sappho is a 15.1hh Pure Bred Crabbet Arabian (Ganemede x Gold Selene)
Bey Sappho is a tall powerful filly with a lovely head, excellent conformation and the most extravagant straight action, outstanding presence and a very sweet disposition. She has made a successful in hand show filly, but we hope will excel under saddle in the show ring, at dressage or endurance; and long-term a valuable broodmare. She is a full Sister to Bey Selima (HOYS 2005, HOYS 2006), to Bey Shiva, exported & Bey Shimoun. She was bought in 2007 from the Stourvale Arabian Stud and now lives with us at Masons Stud, Littleton where we have high hopes for her. To date she has shown successfully in hand, most recently winning the Crabbet Class at Wessex Spring Show 2009.

Natida Rahmoon
Natida Rahmoon is a Dapple Grey, 15hh Pure Bred Arabian with Crabbet lines (Rahmaan x Persian Moon) Born 2002. 'Moon' is a relaxed, easy going Arab who has a wonderful tempermeant & attittude to work. She has excellent confirmation, straight movement & a pretty head. 2010 is her first competitive season under saddle - she has completed 3 out 3 Novice endurance rides with Grade 1's in each. She has low heart rates & good speeds for endurance. She is now working at Open level with the goal of being Advanced Endurance by the end of the 2010 season.
We have no current plans to breed or show her but will do in the future as she will now be at Mason Stud for a long time to come.

This fantastic race winning mare by Nightshift (USA) out of High Habit (GB)
has superb confirmation & tremendous straight movement.
A winner on the flat, she has had a consistent racing carreer with over 31 runs - winning prize money of £22,000.
She retired from racing in 2002 completely sound, before becoming a broodmare. She has bred 2 race winners on the flat & she now joins Masons Stud in the hope of breeding some
Super Event/Race/Show mares of the future.

Kentchurch Masquerade 16.2hh Part Bred Welsh (50% Welsh D x 50% TB) Champion Mare
Many times winner in hand and under saddle including the Royal Bath and West before becoming an Advanced Dressage Horse. Winning many dressage competitions she stands at 16.2 hh, is 50% Welsh, 50% Thoroughbred and has a wonderful temperament. She represented England in Barcelona, Spain before retiring to stud. We were lucky enough to be given ‘Blossom’ as she is known at home and it has been a sensational mix adding her bone and height to our Anglo Stallion for some truly super offspring. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The website would not be complete without a quick mention to the geldings that have touched our lives… We no longer have either boys to allow the Stud and its mares to grow, but both boys are very much missed and taught me a lot.
Verbal Agreement
Verbal Agreement is a very talented & stunning 16.1hh Black allrounder whom I was lucky enough to have on loan as my hunting horse. He has really turned his hand to most things, Affiliated Eventing, Dressage, Showing & a brilliant Hunter. He was 3rd at Horse of the Year show in the Riding Club Show Horse ( the perfect class for him) and is now in his new loan home competiting Affiliated Showing, BSJA, Side Saddle & Dressage.
Another Valentine
Another Valentine is a fantastic example of a Small Riding Horse (He competed at HOYS & RIHS five times, including 2nd RIHS Small riding Horse during his career) whom I was lucky enough to own for 4 years. He taught me so much about showing at national level and a horse whom will always be hard to replace. I only wished he was a mare!
